Adrianna Edwards, who walks 7 miles to work at a Denny's restaurant in Galveston, was surprised by a couple who bought her a 2011 Nissan Sentra, KTRK reported.
"I still feel like I'm dreaming. Every two hours, I come look out my window and see if there's still a car there," Edwards told the television station.

On Tuesday, Edwards served breakfast to the couple, who wished to remain anonymous. The couple learned how Edwards got to work and learned she was saving money to buy a car.
Hours later, the couple returned and handed Edwards keys to the car, KTRK reported.
"She teared up, which made me happy that she was so moved by that," the woman who bought the car told the television station.
There was only one catch, but one Edwards will happily follow -- especially since her commute only takes 30 minutes now.
"I gave her a note that said, 'I know it's Thanksgiving, but I said, 'Merry Christmas,' and that, hopefully, someday she'll just pay it forward," Edwards' benefactor told KTRK.
It's a request Edwards said she plans to honor.
"When I see somebody in need, I'll probably be more likely to help them out (and) to do everything that I can to help them out," Edwards told KTRK.
