A Texas woman was injured early Monday after her vehicle landed in a tree, authorities said.

According to the woman, she was run off the road around 2:30 a.m. in Caldwell County, south of Austin, by another driver, KVUE reported. The woman's husband said another driver was traveling aggressively, causing his wife to swerve and hit a guardrail, which propelled the car into the air, the television station reported.

The vehicle's back tires were wedged into the tree and the front tires were on the ground, KVUE reported.

The woman was hospitalized but is expected to be OK, the television station reported.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.
