According to WDAM-TV, the incident occurred about 8:30 p.m. after members of the Anchorage, Alaska-based 4th Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division parachuted from a C-130 military transport plane carrying 89 troops. U.S. Army Alaska spokesman John Pennell said seven injured paratroopers were taken to nearby hospitals, while 15 others were treated at the scene, WDAM and CBS News reported.

"There are no life-threatening injuries at this time," the combat team said in a Facebook post.
