Rep. Tulsi Gabbard has suspended her presidential campaign.

She made the announcement on her Twitter account Thursday morning.

Her decision leaves only two Democrats vying for the party’s nomination -- Sen. Bernie Sanders and former Vice President Joe Biden.

In the announcement, Gabbard said, “After Tuesday’s election, it’s clear that Democratic primary voters have chosen Vice President Joe Biden to be the person who will take on President Trump in the General Election.”

She also backed Biden, saying that despite not agreeing with him on all issues, she knows “he has a good heart.”

Gabbard had won only two delegates through the primary season.

Biden has 1,180 delegates of the 1,991 needed to win. The only other person in the race, Sanders, has 885 delegates, The Associated Press reported.
