Customers of Verizon had been having problems making calls Wednesday, as multiple news outlets reported there was a nationwide outage of the telecommunications service.
More than 4,000 users of Down Detector have reported issues with Verizon, many saying that they were getting messages that circuits were busy.
The company confirmed with police in Reno that there was a service interruption and there was no estimated time for a fix to be in place, WXYZ reported.
