We’ve been hearing a lot about Alexander Hamilton in the halls of Congress recently, but get ready to hear a whole lot more especially if you are a fan of the theater.

Lin-Manuel Miranda has made the dreams come true for those who love the Broadway show “Hamilton” but have had no way of seeing it (legally that is and not on YouTube bootleg).

Mark your calendars, the day you can be in the room where it happens is Oct. 15, 2021.

He made the announcement on Twitter Monday morning.

The film will not be your normal movie musicals like "Cats" or the Hugh Jackman-helmed "Les Miserables." Instead, it is a recording of the show with the original cast, filmed weeks before members started to depart, he said during an interview with Variety.

That means Miranda plays the lead as Alexander Hamilton, with Leslie Odom Jr. playing Aaron Burr and Christopher Jackson portraying President George Washington.

Odom confirmed the recording in an interview last year, saying the show was filmed in 2016, Playbill reported.

"They shot a version of it on stage. So that will come out eventually, I know for sure. They brought in cameras, they got in tight, they got in close up. I haven't seen it, but I've heard from people who have seen it that it's really well done, really beautifully done," Odom said, according to Playbill.

Miranda was asked about the movie during the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah when he said "We're just trying to find the right time to do it," Variety reported.

"Hamilton" will be presented by Disney, which may not come as a surprise for some. He wrote the award-nominated music for the animated feature film "Moana," as well as songs for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" and "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker," Entertainment Weekly reported. He also provides the voice for Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera/Gizmoduck in the rebooted "Ducktales" series.

Deadline reported Disney paid $75 million for the worldwide rights to "Hamilton."

Miranda's first Tony-winning musical will soon be hitting movie theaters. "In the Heights" which focuses on the area of New York City called Washington Heights will be released this summer. Miranda originated the role Usnavi on Broadway, but in the film, the lead is played by Anthony Ramos, who also starred as part of the original cast of "Hamilton," Variety reported.

Miranda plays Piraguero in the film.
