Famed rapper and record producer Dr. Dre paid tribute Sunday to the late Kobe Bryant in a two-minute video showcasing highlights of the former Los Angeles Lakers’ career.

The video, from Dr. Dre, Jack Bannon and Gibson Hazard, was debuted by TNT ahead of Sunday night's NBA All-Star Game. It ends with a clip from Joe Cocker's 1972 song "Woman to Woman," which Dr. Dre sampled for Tupac Shakur's 1995 hit "California Love."

Bryant, 41, and his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, called “Gigi,” were killed along with seven others in a helicopter crash in Southern California on Jan. 26. Also killed in the crash were Orange Coast College head baseball coach John Altobelli; Altobelli’s wife, Keri; Altobelli’s daughter, Alyssa; Harbor Day School assistant basketball coach Christina Mauser; Sarah Chester; Chester’s daughter, Payton; and helicopter pilot Ara Zobayan.

Bryant and the victims of last month's crash were remembered several times Sunday.

Jennifer Hudson, wearing the Los Angeles Lakers’ deep purple, performed a pregame tribute to the victims. Players on the team headed by LeBron James, of the Lakers, wore No. 2 on their jerseys in tribute to Gianna, who wore the number herself. The team headed by Giannis Antetokounmpo, of the Milwaukee Bucks, wore Bryant’s No. 24. And all players wore a patch with nine stars, one for each victim of the crash.

On Saturday, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver announced that the league's All-Star MVP trophy would be renamed in Bryant's honor. The award is set to be given out later Sunday night to the player voted as the biggest star of the All-Star Game — a trophy that Bryant hoisted four times.

Kobe Bryant and Gianna Bryant were laid to rest Friday in a private ceremony in Corona Del Mar, California, according to Entertainment Tonight. A public ceremony to mourn them is scheduled to take place Feb. 24 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
