Video of the moment, which happened before Tuesday's Royals-White Sox game at Guaranteed Rate Field, quickly went viral as social media users dubbed the unidentified woman's throw "the worst first pitch ever."

The photographer, Darren Georgia, took to Twitter after the incident.
