Update 8:25 p.m EDT May 9: The kidnapping allegedly happened at Biltmore Park Thursday afternoon.
The girl was later found safe in Henderson County. Police said the vehicle involved, a 2014 Mazda CX5, was also located in Henderson County in western North Carolina.

Original report: A seven-week-old girl was reportedly kidnapped Thursday in Asheville, police said in a tweet.
The kidnapping happened at Biltmore Park.
Police said the vehicle involved, a 2014 Mazda CX5, was located in Henderson County in western North Carolina.

The infant was last seen wearing a pink onesie with horizontal white stripes, Asheville police tweeted.
A woman and the baby were kidnapped by a man and woman wearing ski masks, our ABC affiliate WLOS reported.
The mother got away, but Shaylie and the suspects are still unaccounted for, police told WLOS.
The suspects both have a thin build, police said. The woman has black hair, and the man has red hair.
