Austin Landing on Tuesday will celebrate the addition of a new office building being constructed for a Dayton company to relocate its headquarters.

A beam raising ceremony is set for 11:30 a.m. to mark the planned addition of Midmark Corp., which will move into the three-story, 38,822-square-foot building.

The provider of medical, dental and veterinary health care equipment announced late last year it had finalized lease negotiations for about 12,000 square feet on the third floor. The company will move approximately 20 to 25 positions from its Dayton location.

The building on 0.4 acres also would include other office space, restaurant and retail at the corner of Penny Lane and Rigby Road, next to — and connecting with — the five-story Progress Park Tower, according to plans filed with the township.
