A tenant for the 12,550-square-foot retail site should be announced soon, said Larry Dillin, president of VisCap Development.
The 2,000-square-foot plaza would provide “better connectivity” to nearby restaurants and bars, Dillin said Tuesday night.
Plans for the building and plaza were approved Tuesday night by the Miami Twp. Zoning Commission. The plans are set to go before township trustees next week.

“The existing streets and driveways on the site of the proposed development are adequate to serve the residents or occupants of the proposed development,” according to documents submitted on the proposal by Larry Dillin, president of VisCap Development, which manages Austin Landing.
