Wingstop will open "softly" today, Nov. 8, at 2006 Miamisburg-Centerville Road (Ohio 725) at I-675, in the east edge of the South Towne Center in Miami Twp.

The new restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to midnight daily.

“We’ll be one of the few food establishments along Miamisburg-Centerville Road to be open until midnight,” franchise owner Robert Hall told this news outlet today.

Wingstop is still in training mode for its 22 employees, so franchise owners say the restaurant will be in soft-opening mode for the first couple of weeks. “We’ll host a grand opening in a few weeks,” Hall said.

The restaurant also will add bottled beer to the menu in a few weeks, the franchise owner said.

Wingstop serves a variety of wings, from mildly spiced to atomic. The lemon-pepper wings and seasoned fresh-cut fries are among customer favorites, Hall said.

The new Wingstop will have a license to sell beer in bottles. Catering is also available.

Hall said he is looking to open three to five Wingstop locations total in the broader Dayton area. The region has been a hotbed of chicken-restaurant competition in the last year or two, but Hall is confident.

“We feel we have a niche in the market,” the franchise owner said.

Wingstop said in a release earlier this year that it sees opportunity to grow to as many as 2,500 locations in the U.S. Last year marked the chain's 13th consecutive year of positive same-store growth, company officials said.

Wingstop will enter a Dayton market that is filling up with chicken-themed restaurants.
