The city of Oakwood paid 27 employees over $100,000 in 2018, according to the Dayton Daily News Payroll Project searchable database of public employees.

The city’s highest paid employee in 2018 was City Manager Nobert Klopsch, who made $171,668, a $7,000 raise from the year prior. Klopsch has been among Oakwood’s top-paid employees and has received a raise in each year since the Dayton Daily News began its Payroll Project in 2014.
The US Census’ latest 2017 estimates have the per capita income in Oakwood at $53,777.

Of Oakwood’s 10 highest-paid employees, seven work within the city’s conjoined fire and police department. The remaining three work in city management, the parks department and the law department.
