Burton pleaded no contest and was convicted of attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and importuning.
On Tuesday, Burton was sentenced to 12 months in prison because the judge said he has taken no responsibility for his actions.
Prosecutors said when Burton traveled to Fairborn in November, he brought with him a camera to take pictures of the girl who turned out to be an undercover police detectives.
The judge said Burton was not a candidate for community control or probation because he has never taken responsibility for what he did.
Burton was also labeled a sexually oriented offender, which means once he is out of prison, he will have to register with local authorities wherever he lives.
