Miamisburg’s bicentennial celebration next year will involve two parades, and several spots remain open, according to organizers.

The community’s main celebration of its 200th birthday will be commemorated in mid-June 2018 with bookend parades on June 16 and June 23.

Among those already committed to taking part in the parades are The Ohio State University Alumni Band, the Kettering Civic Band and the Miamisburg High School Alumni Band, as well as musicians from several are high schools.

Community groups, businesses, schools, and families are invited to join in. If your group or family would like a spot in one or both bicentennial parades, send your emails of interest with contact information to miamisburg200@cityofmiamisburg.org.
