The Dayton area's newest Firehouse Subs will host a grand opening today at 1128 S. Main St. (Ohio 48) in Englewood, Seeth Grusenmeyer, the restaurant's franchisee, said this morning, May 16.

The new Englewood location is at the Ohio 48-Wenger Road intersection, just north of I-70. It will occupy 1,800 square feet and will employ 30 to 35, Fryman said.

Plans call for opening as many as nine Firehouse Subs locations in southwest Ohio.

The Jacksonville, Florida-based chain specializes in hot subs and also serves salads, chili and other sandwiches in an atmosphere that evokes an old-fashioned firehouse.
