Oxford Police Officer Accused Of Drunk Driving

An Oxford police officer was placed under arrest after he was accused of drunken driving.

Officer Ryan Sikora is accused of hitting several mailboxes while driving on Route 27 early Tuesday morning. Police said they arrested him on one count of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and one count of failure to control.

Sikora has been on the force for eight years. He is on paid administrative leave pending the investigation.
