Pandora Zan Sentenced In Husband's Death

A woman who plotted the murder of her husband was sentenced Thursday morning inside a Montgomery County Courtroom.

Pandora Zan, 46, was sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole. She also received 25 years with the life in prison sentence.

She was convicted of planning her husband's death, along with her son, Cody Henderson. Prosecutors said Henderson stabbed Charles Zan more than 40 times in October 2009.

Prosecutors said that Zan plotted to kill her husband for his life insurance money. However, she never got any of the money.

Assistant Prosecutor Dan Brandt said, "It's not something to get away with. She was very conniving and deceitful."

Henderson will go on trial for murder in June, and could face the death penalty.
