Iam’s Home for the Holidays. Join Felicity Huffman and thousands of others in a mission to save the lives of 1 million pets this holiday season. It's a wonderful time to open your home — and your heart — to an animal in need.

Together, we can make a difference! Here are just a few of the great animals at SICSA looking for a new home this holiday. View all of our pets online at www.sicsa.org.

Buster HISTORY: Acquired from a pet store as a puppy. --Surrendered because they have no time to devote to the dog. PREVIOUS HOME: Lived with a family with four children ranging in age from 4 years to 18 years. Buster has also lived with cats and dogs and did well. PERSONALITY: Buster is an active, friendly boy who loves to fetch a tennis ball. He likes to go on walks and go to the playground. Buster eats Blue weight control dog food. Other brands tend to give him gas. He is a happy, loving, independent boy. He needs works on not darting out the door. He knows sit, come, lay down, roll over, shake paw, and stay. BEST MATCH FOR A HOME: Buster would do best in a home with adults or older children that will provide daily exercise and training to facilitate bonding.

Toby HISTORY: Acquired from a pet store 4 years ago. PREVIOUS HOME: Toby lived with a family as an only pet and no children. He was left unattended in the house in the laundry room and at night. He did have access to a fenced yard at times during the day and liked to play along the fence with the neighbor's dog. He has not had much experience with other dogs or with cats. PERSONALITY: Toby is an energetic and playful guy. He gets along with children and other dogs he meets on walks. He is in a foster home with 2 other dogs and one visiting dog. He does not do well with cats. He knows sit and down and walks well with an Easy Walk Harness that comes with him when he is adopted. He loves to snuggle on the floor or on a lap. He stays in a crate when his foster family is gone and sleeps in the crate in their bedroom at night. Toby is also really good riding in a crate in the car. BEST MATCH FOR A HOME: Toby would do best in a low-key home. He is a sweet, lovable dog who bonds easily and will make a great pet! **Toby is available for adoption by appointment only through our Training Department.

Cats: Oneida, Peep and Snowball: she is a friendly cat who is very food motivated. Snowball does not get along well with other cats and should be placed in a home as an only cat. Please come and visit Snowball in Cat Display today!
