Here are seven great places to eat if you’re at Austin Landing:
1. Another Broken Egg Café, 3450 Rigby Road, Miamisburg
The only Ohio location for this small southern-inspired chain is at Austin Landing, and it’s a quaint place to stop for a casual meal. Another Broken Egg Cafe isn’t your typical breakfast, brunch and lunch place, as the menu is loaded with fresh ingredients and creative recipes that put a unique spin on some of the classics.
2. Chuy’s, 10445 Innovation Drive, Miamisburg
This Tex-Mex chain restaurant is a fun place to stop and still relatively new to the region with locations at Austin Landing, Beavercreek and West Chester opening within the last couple years. Though the menu is full of classic dishes like burritos, fajitas, tacos and enchiladas, this fast-growing chain is different than most.
3. BJ’s Brewhouse, 10563 Innovation Drive, Miamisburg
Another chain not well-represented around Dayton (the only other location is at Beavercreek’s Fairfield Commons), BJ’s is the place to try if you’re looking for some good food and drink right at Austin Landing. Guests especially enjoy their award-winning handcrafted beer, the Southern California twist they’ve put on Chicago-style pizza and their famous Pizookies for dessert.
4. Dewey’s Pizza, 3600 Rigby Road, Miamisburg
This casual Midwestern chain serves up inventive specialty pizzas and seasonal craft beers, and it’s located right in Austin Landing.
5. Main Street Deli, 465 North Main Street, Springboro
This is a local deli to try if you’re looking for something a little different than the Panera right at Austin Landing. The food is prepared with fresh ingredients right in front of you and served in a homey atmosphere, and the sandwiches are packed full so you’ll leave feeling satisfied.
6. Boro Bistro, 722 North Main Street, Springboro
One of Springboro’s trendiest restaurants, Boro Bistro, offers a wide array of great lunch and dinner options, including quesadillas, salads, wraps, burritos, paninis, pizza and more, at reasonable prices. The Bistro outgrew its previous space in historic downtown and moved to this location in September 2010.
7. The Highland Stag, 75 North Main Street, Springboro
An authentic Scottish restaurant with a Celtic flare, The Highland Stag is just five minutes south of Austin Landing. Owner Ann McKenzie brought family recipes from her grandmother’s Willowplate Café in Gorebridge, Scotland, and the friendly feel of a traditional Scottish Pub is a welcome addition to the region.
