The temperature reached 78 degrees at the Dayton International Airport, breaking the previous record of 71 degrees set in 2002 and 2006.
In Cincinnati, the temperature reached 80 degrees, which exceeds the record of 74 degrees set in 1964, 2002 and 2006.
In Columbus, the temperature reached 78 degrees, which broke the record of 72 degrees set in 1949.

However, it soon will be time to say goodbye to the unseasonably warm conditions.
A cold front will bring showers and possibly a few thunderstorms Tuesday night and cooler weather for the rest of the week. Overnight temperatures are expected in the high 50s.

It will be mostly cloudy today with morning showers. Clouds will decrease through the afternoon, which will be cooler with highs ranging between the upper 50s to the north and the upper 60s to the south. Skies will be mostly clear with light winds Wednesday night, which will by chilly with low temperatures dipping into the 30s.
Skies will be sunny Thursday with highs in the upper 50s.
