Report: The Best Pharmacy for Customer Satisfaction

Do you like your pharmacy? How do you know if you’re getting the best value or the best service when you go to fill a prescription?

J.D. Power's recently released its 2020 U.S. Pharmacy Study, which ranks pharmacies according to customer satisfaction.

The study used eight different criteria including the quality of experience with pharmacy staff, the pharmacy’s location and environment and the out-of-pocket price and perceived value of prescriptions.

Among the results, you’ll see which pharmacy is ranked the best based in each of these four pharmacy categories:

Brick-and-Mortar Mass Merchandisers
Brick-and-Mortar Supermarkets
Mail Order

The results of the study come from the responses of 13,378 customers who filled prescriptions during the three months before the survey period of September 2019-May 2020.

The study also says that more retail pharmacy customers are using health and wellness-geared services offered by their pharmacies: 48 percent which is up 5 percent from the 2019 study. J.D. Power also says that survey respondents who've used those services have higher overall customer satisfaction levels than those who have not.
