Showers, storms prompt flood advisory for parts of region

A Flood Advisory was in effect for more than an hour in Clark, Greene and Montgomery counties Monday night after showers and storms brought heavy rain across the region.

Street flooding was reported shortly after 6 p.m. on Wilmington Pike/Wilmington Avenue in the Beavercreek area to the National Weather Service.

Tuesday, the chances of thunderstorms will continue after 8 a.m., however the skies are expected to be mostly sunny, the NWS reported. The evening will be dry, though clouds are expected to move in. It will be cooler, with temperatures ranging from 78 degrees to 56 degrees.

Wednesday will be sunny and the skies will be clear, with temperatures ranging from 76 degrees to around 56 degrees.
