Slideshow: Images From The Scene, Victims A lot of people are looking for answers for why six people died on Sunday. Family members and deputies from Logan County determined that Scoot Moody (pictured, above) was responsible for the shootings.
The shootings happened at two homes on Route 47, west of Bellefontaine.
Authorities said Moody shot his grandparents, mother, sister and two friends before killing himself early Sunday, hours before he and one of the victims were to graduate from high school. Sheriff Michael Henry said Moody went to a neighboring farmhouse and killed his grandparents with a .22 caliber rifle and then came back home where he committed the other shootings.
Scott Moody was scheduled to graduate from Riverside High School on Sunday.
