Snow comes down on East Stewart St. near the University of Dayton Monday Nov. 30.

We will start today with patchy fog and some snow that will transition into a chance of rain as the morning goes on, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

The NWS said that the rain will become patchy drizzle in the afternoon, and otherwise skies will be cloudy with high temperatures around 38 degrees.

Drizzle should come to an end shortly after dark today, after which we will see a cold but calm night, with mostly cloudy skies and a low around 29 degrees.

On Wednesday, and for much of the rest of the week, the NWS predicted high pressure will build in the area, bringing seasonably cool, cloudy and quiet weather.

Wednesday, for example, will be mostly cloudy with a high near 39 degrees, followed by a mostly cloudy night with a low of around 29 degrees.

The forecast on Thursday is nearly the same, with mostly cloudy skies both during the day and at night, a high near 38 degrees and a low around 28 degrees.
