Sprint stores targets of overnight break-ins

Two area Sprint stores were the targets of attempted breaking and enterings Thursday morning.

Around 3:30 a.m., police responded to the Sprint store on Old Troy Pike after rocks were thrown at the front glass door. The glass cracked, but did not break. No one was able to get inside.

Shortly before 5 a.m., police responded to an attempted breaking and entering at the Sprint on Springboro Pike in Miamisburg. Two large rocks were reportedly located in front of the store that were used in an attempt to gain access to the store.

Around 5:15 a.m., a suspicious vehicle was located outside the Sprint store at the Greene. It reportedly took off at a high rate of speed when approached by security.
