When asked by the reporter about Jordan’s chances of replacing House Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz, Boehner let loose.
“F—- Jordan. F—- Chaffetz. They’re both a———-,” he said of Jordan and Chaffetz, a Utah Republican.
Jordan founded the House Freedom Caucus — a perennial thorn in Boehner’s side that some credit for him stepping down as speaker.

Boehner's Politico interview revealed the ex-speaker's deep feelings about Jordan, who he called "A terrorist. A legislative terrorist."
“Jordan was a terrorist as a legislator going back to his days in the Ohio House and Senate,” Boehner told Politico.
Boehner also said Chaffetz is a “total phony” who, the speaker told Politico, is focused on self-promotion.
Boehner left the House and its speakership in October 2015.
