Aug. 9, 2012: Dayton Daily News reports Luckie is under criminal investigation
Aug. 10, 2012: Luckie withdraws from race against Republican Jeff Wellbaum
Aug. 12, 2012: Democrats choose former state Sen. Fred Strahorn to replace Luckie on the ballot
Oct. 10, 2012: Luckie is charged with 45 felony counts and 4 misdemeanor counts and enters a not-guilty plea on all counts
Jan 22, 2013: Luckie, pleads guilty to six counts of election falsification, one count of money laundering, one count of grand theft, and one misdemeanor count of filing a false ethics statement. He is sentenced to three years in prison and three years of probation under a plea agreement with the Franklin County Prosecutor. He is ordered repay $11,893 that he received in salary as an Ohio House member from when he was indicted in October until his term ended on Dec. 31.
March 17, 2013: Luckie turns himself in at the Franklin County Jail to begin his prison sentence. He is currently in the Southeastern Correctional Institution in Fairfield County.
