Sunny Sunday ahead, high heat indices today and tomorrow

Today the weather will be sunny, though temperatures will be high. The National Weather Service warns that heat and humidity will bring the heat index to the mid to upper 90s today and the upper 90s to 100 degrees Monday. If you’re going outside, be sure to drink plenty of water.

Temperatures will range between 91 and 71 degrees today. The skies will be sunny and there is a chance of slight breezes throughout the day.

Tomorrow, the morning and afternoon will be mostly sunny, with temperatures reaching around 90 degrees. Lows will reach around 68 degrees. After 5 p.m., there is a higher chance of a shower or thunderstorm. More showers or storms are likely Monday evening.

The chances of rain will continue into Tuesday morning until about 1 p.m. Temperatures will be slightly cooler, ranging from 84 to 64 degrees. The skies are expected to be mostly clear and sunny.
