We will start out today on the colder side, as lower-than-normal overnight lows give us temperatures of just under 50 degrees around dawn, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

Otherwise, we will see sunny skies today, with a high of around 76 degrees.

Tonight, we will start to see more clouds as the night goes on, with temperatures falling to around 53 degrees.

Tomorrow, there will be more clouds, but temperatures will be warmer, with a high near 84 degrees. The NWS predicted a slight chance for rain starting in the late evening and lasting through the night. Otherwise we will see mostly cloudy skies as temperatures will fall to around 62 degrees overnight.

That chance of showers will continue through Thursday, with chances rising slightly in the early afternoon, then falling away through the evening before largely disappearing soon after dark.

Thursday night will again be cool, with temperatures dropping to around 50 degrees under partly cloudy skies.
