‘The Don’s Pizza’ opens 2nd location in Kettering; more on the way

"The Don's Pizza" is now open at 4654 Wilmington Pike in Kettering, and its founder says more are on the way across the Miami Valley.

The new Kettering restaurant is the second location for The Don’s Pizza, which operates a restaurant in downtown Greenville. Owner Andy Miller of Miamisburg said he intends to open two or three other restaurants in the region.

Miller said the strong vehicle traffic on Wilmington Pike and the population density of the Kettering neighborhoods surrounding the new pizza shop attracted him to the location.

The Dayton area’s newest pizza restaurant seats about 50 and has five employees. It occupies 1,600 square feet of space that previously housed Papa Kranky’s Italian Kitchen, which shut down in late February after about 15 months. Prior to Papa Kranky’s, the Italian Oven operated for nine years from the space.

The Don's Pizza offers free delivery within a three-mile radius and will soon offer curb-side pick-up, Miller said. For more information, call (937) 294-0744 or check out The Don's Pizza Kettering Facebook page.
