This news organization has obtained a copy of Chodkowski’s employment contract, which states the position’s title as city manager and director of public safety. Here are five things to know, according to the document:
•Chodkowski will earn an annual base salary of $145,000 through 2018. He will receive "at least the same percentage increase" approved for other non-union employees for future years of the contract, which runs into 2021.

•Moraine City Council will review his performance after six months and annually thereafter.
•Moving expenses for Chodkowski not to exceed $10,000 will be paid by the city. Chodkowski is currently the town manager of Enfield, Conn.
•Moraine will provide and maintain an automobile "for exclusive and unrestricted use" by Chodkowski during his term as city manager. It will also provide all fuel.

•If Chodkowski's contract is terminated early for reasons "other than misfeasance, malfeasance or nonfeasance and more than 12 months remain" on the agreement, he will be entitled to "salary continuation (or lump sum payment at the city's discretion) for 12 months or until city manager commences with other full-time employment…."
