The Highland Heights, Ohio-based company employees roughly 2,500 people in the United States, with majority of stores in malls. There are stores at the Mall at Fairfield Commons, Dayton Mall, Tri-County Mall, Northgate Mall, Tuttle Crossing, Kenwood Towne Centre, Easton Town Center and Polaris Fashion Place.
The retailer will try to sell the brand and some stores during the bankruptcy proceedings to save some of the stores and jobs, the people told Reuters.
