Kleem Inc. has been making traffic control products in West Chester since 1978. The company produces sign posts, traffic signs, work zone barricades and other related brackets and hardware, among other things.

2. KitchenAid Mixers
Whirlpool’s plant in Greenville – one of nine nationwide – has been assembling KitchenAid stand mixers since 1941, and the factory still employs 700 people who run three shifts. At the KitchenAid Experience Center, the company's retail store in town, every model of mixer and blender in every color can be seen, and there is even a mixer museum.
3. Spinal implants and surgical instruments
NuVasive Inc. has been a leading medical device company focused on transforming spine surgery with minimally disruptive solutions for 15 years, and this year it opened a new facility dedicated to spinal implant and instrument manufacturing in West Carrollton. The company hopes to employ 300 full-time, high-tech positions, including engineers, skilled machinists and development specials, by 2018.
4. Adhesive labels and more
Avery Dennison has 15 locations in the United States, producing adhesive labels, display graphics and packaging materials used to engage customers and manage inventories. But its Miamisburg center, which opened in 2010, focuses specifically on information solutions, such as radio-frequency identification technology that allows retailers to identify and track items wirelessly via radio waves.
5. Trash cans and waste bins
Witt Industries, a division of The Armour Group Inc. in Mason, is a manufacturer of durable indoor and outdoor waste bins and site furnishings such as benches. The Witt Stadium Series receptacles also sit in professional and college stadiums and arenas nationwide.
