5 things you need to know about Warren County Sports Park

Construction of the new $16 million Warren County Sports Park has begun near the intersection of State Route 741 and Greentree Road.

Construction has begun for the $16 million Warren County Sports Park in Turtlecreek Township. The 109 acre park will have 14 soccer fields and 6 ball diamonds when completed. A total of 109 acres on the east and west sides of Turtlecreek Township Park will become the Warren County Sports Park.

Plans include 12 soccer fields on the west side of the park with 2 soccer fields and six ball diamonds on the east side.

A small swath of trees have been removed to accommodate a road to connect the two sides of the park.

The Warren County Sports Park will adjoin a future phase of the Union Village development that entails 1,400 acres of Otterbein land that could have 4,500 homes.
