The $8.8 million project began in March involves replacing the decking, sidewalks and lighting from the beams up. Bridge decking from the east sidewalk removed, leaving just the beams exposed.

The 62-year-old bridge renovation is an Ohio Department of Transportation project that is expected to take a year to complete.
