Passengers described a chaotic scene on Monday along Terminal D at Hartsfield Jackson International Airport in Atlanta.
WSBTV reports an airline known for being late Monday morning swung to the other extreme.
“The flight left 30 minutes ahead of time. They left about 20 people, leaving us stranded at the airport, not offering any resolution,” said one Spirit Airlines customer.
WSBTV says one of the affected passengers called to say several Spirit Airlines flights left too early.
A video shot between 9 and 10 a.m. Monday shows more than 100 people in line trying to get rerouted or refunded.
According to WSBTV, you couldn't tell there was an issue at the ticket counter, and employees wouldn't talk about it.
Later, Spirit Airlines told the station TSA was at fault, which has yet to be confirmed.
