The longtime home of the Bengals and Reds was originally known as Riverfront Stadium. It hosted the Major League All-Star game just days after it opened June 30, 1970, and was brought down in phases at cost of about $15 million.
Today, part of the site is occupied by Great American Ball Park with some parking lots over the old site. A small portion of the Riverfront Stadium site is now occupied by the Reds’ Hall of Fame and Museum and Main Street, which was extended when the new park was built and when the old park was demolished.
