Watch: Centre City building, from construction to completion

Those walking along Fourth Street in downtown Dayton in 1925 had a clear view of the towering construction of the United Brethern Publishing House building. It stood well above the closest structure, the UB Building.

The scene, which today includes the finished and renamed Centre City building, is the subject of this week's update to the popular Then & Now photo gallery, which features past and present images of some of Dayton's most notable locations.

Today's Fourth and Jefferson intersection includes much more green space and a parking garage where a produce company once stood.

There are no, however, buildings under construction.
