At the intersection of Broadway and Main streets are The Golden Lamb, Lebanon Public Library and Lebanon Municipal Court. The Golden Lamb was established in 1803 and was a popular stop for settlers coming from the east, including 12 Presidents.
Lebanon’s Library is a Carnegie Library which was built with a $10,000 endowment from Andrew Carnegie and opened in 1908. The Lebanon Municipal Court building is the main landmark downtown, with its clock tower, patina dome and U.S. flag flying.
Next to the Lebanon Library is the Warren County Historical Society located in Harmon Hall, a brick, three-story building with 28,000-square-feet of display space. Local items from prehistoric times through the mid-20th century are on display in multiple exhibits.
The Historical Society also has the old post office which has become the Lebanon Conference and Banquet Center.

The newest developments downtown are currently happening on the north end of Broadway, where Lebanon Citizens National Bank recently opened its new headquarters at Silver Street. Other big projects for a stretch of North Broadway between Berry Intermediate School and the Warren County Fairgrounds have been proposed or are close to getting underway. Those include a veterans memorial, restaurants, a brew pub, apartments and town homes, a fire station and an events center.
