Dayton Hydroponics plans to build a new home, moving jobs from its Miamisburg-Centerville Road location, city records show. The 1.4-acre site will house a 10,000 square foot building, about twice as large as the former eatery, according to the city.

The building will include about 5,000 square foot of new retail space, the first for that district in about 20 years, according to the city.

Dayton Hydroponics bought the 630 E. Dixie site in August 2017 for $49,698, according to Montgomery County records.

The demolition work by Bladecutter’s Inc. Lawn & Landscaping of Dayton is expected to last about 10 days, West Carrollton officials said.
