Rusty Clifford will become the ESC’s director of administration and operations Aug. 1. That will include overseeing maintenance of the center’s buildings and grounds, food services, attendance and safety plans, said county ESC Superintendent Frank DePalma.

Clifford replaces Timothy Barrett, who retired. His annual salary will be about $102,000 a year, officials said. The ESC works with dozens of districts in the Dayton area, offering a broad range of services and programs, according to its website.
