The winning numbers were 16, 20, 37, 44 and 62, and the Powerball number was 12.
Update 5:46 a.m. EDT March 28: According to the Wisconsin Lottery website, the winning Powerball ticket was sold in New Berlin, located west of Milwaukee. Odds for winning the grand prize are listed by Powerball as 1 in 292,201,338.00.
Update 1:55 a.m. EDT March 28: The jackpot will have a cash value of approximately $477 million, according to the Powerball website. The retailer that sold the winning ticket will receive $100,000.
The jackpot had been estimated at $750 million, but climbed into third-place among U.S. lottery drawings when it passed the $757.7 million jackpot won by a Massachusetts woman in May 2017, ABC News reported.
Seven tickets matched all five white balls, but did not match the red Powerball. Those ticket-holders won $1 million apiece.
The next Powerball drawing is Saturday night. The jackpot has been reset to $40 million.

Update 1:30 a.m. EDT March 28: Wisconsin officials said the winning ticket was the largest in state history. It is also the third largest lottery jackpot in U.S. history and the second-largest Powerball jackpot.
"This is an amazing milestone moment for Wisconsin," said Wisconsin Lottery Director Cindy Polzin said in a news release. "It truly is incredible to think that the winning ticket for this historic jackpot was sold in our own backyard."
Wednesday was the first Powerball jackpot won in 2019 after it rolled over 25 times since the last winning ticket on Dec. 26, 2018.
Update 1:20 a.m. EDT March 28: The Powerball jackpot, which crept up to $768.4 million, was won Wednesday night in Wisconsin. It was the third largest lottery jackpot in U.S. history.
Update 11:00 p.m. EDT March 27: The winning numbers for Wednesday night's Powerball drawing are: 44 62 20 37 16 and the Powerball number is 12.
It’s the third largest Powerball jackpot in history.
Original story: The winning numbers for Saturday's drawing were 24, 25, 52, 60, 66 plus Powerball 5, and Power Play multiplier 3X.
The jackpot was last won in New York on Dec. 26. It has rolled over 25 times since then.
Wednesday's drawing will be the fourth largest in U.S. lottery history, ranking behind the history behind the historic $1.586 billion Powerball jackpot shared by winners in California, Florida and Tennessee in January 2016; the $1.537 billion Mega Millions jackpot won in South Carolina last October; and the $758.7 million Powerball jackpot won in Massachusetts in August 2017, lottery officials said in the news release.
If there is one winner in Wednesday’s Powerball drawing, that person can take the full amount in an annuity or a cash option of an estimated $465.5 million.
"There are a lot of people imagining what they could do with a $750 million Powerball jackpot this week," David Barden, Powerball Product Group Chairman and New Mexico Lottery CEO, said in the news release. "Where else could you win three quarters of a billion dollars for the price of a cup of coffee?"
There were $1 million-winning tickets were sold in Florida, Illinois, North Carolina, North Dakota, New Hampshire, and South Carolina. Two were sold in New York, according to the Powerball website. Two other tickets, sold in Florida and Wisconsin, matched all five white balls and doubled the prize to $2 million, because the tickets included the Power Play option for an additional $1.
There were more more than 3.7 million winning tickets across all prize platforms, lottery officials said.
