Police said they were posting ads on Craigslist.
The undercover officer requested the services of the female poster and eventually met her, and her female friend, in a local hotel, police said.
According to the police report the two women engaged in an act upon each other and that is when the officers took action.
“The undercover officer was there when it occurred, but soon as the sex act began and arrest took place,” said Lt. Brian Johns from the Dayton Police Department.
Police said 19-year-old Kayla Gill and 28-year-old Deanna Swearingen were in handcuffs, charged with soliciting prostitution. That is when they told police there was another female, 26-year-old Chandra Sullivan, waiting outside, police said .
“People are desperate and will do anything for money,” said Ernie Slone from Xenia.
Johns said this wasn’t the first and will not be the last case of prostituting we hear about on Craigslist.
