Wright State University held its graduation ceremony on Saturday.

Wright State University President Cheryl Schrader told graduates Saturday at the school’s spring commence ceremony to make a difference in other people’s lives, saying “people will judge you for who you are, not what you do.”

“I have seen firsthand your passion for helping others,” Schrader said. “Never forget that one person can make a difference.”

Quoting poet Maya Angelou Schrader told the class of 2018: “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”

More than 2,000 students graduated during the spring commencement ceremony at the Nutter Center.

The class of 2018 includes graduates with 1,429 bachelor’s degrees and 602 master’s degrees as well as those awarded associate degrees and post-master’s certificates.
