Story Time

Date: May 1 and 8 Time:10:30 a.m.

Ages 6 to 24 months. Bring your baby to play with toys, explore books, and interact with other babies.

“Punch and Judy” by Master Puppeteer Jim Rose

Date:Saturday, May 3 Time:2 p.m.

Patrons of all ages are invited. James Rose, master puppeteer, will present his Punch and Judy show. Plus, enjoy a visit with popular marionette “Pepito,” and a demonstration of his famed Shakespeare marionettes.

Movies, Movies, Movies

Date: May 17 Time:8 p.m.

Young people in grades 7 through 12 are invited. View a great film in the Library’s main screening room while enjoying free popcorn and drinks.

Picture Book Read In

Date: May 19 through 22

Elementary school classes are invited to the Picture Book Read-In Monday through Thursday. Students can explore and read dozens of the latest picture books. There will also be a sneak preview of this year’s Summer Reading Club! Registration is required and begins March 5.

Friday Afternoon at the Movies Date: Friday, May 16 Time: 2 to 5 p.m.

Young people in grades 5 and 6 are invited. School’s out so come hang at the library for movies and enjoy free drinks and popcorn! Registration is required and begins May 2.

Picture Book Read-In Preschool Day Yellow Springs Community Library 415 Xenia Avenue

Date: Friday, May 23 Time: 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Preschoolers age 3 to 5 are invited. This will be a drop-in read-aloud program for young children and their grown-ups. Dozens of new and delightful picture books will be shared.
