ARANTZ, Connie

On Tuesday, January 5, 2021, Connie Arantz, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed at the age of 80. Connie was born on

October 23, 1940, in New Carlisle, Ohio, to Andy and

Imogene Gordon. After graduating from Shawnee High School In Springfield, Ohio, Connie raised a family and worked within the food industry for over 4-decades. Connie and her former spouse, Bruce Arantz (deceased), raised three children together in an amiable and fun-loving environment. Connie especially loved watching baseball, specifically the

Cincinnati Reds and Tampa Bay Rays. Connie loved cats, dogs, and just about any other animal that wandered into the

family. Her greatest attributes were her outward love for

others, quick wit, and infectious smile. Her spirit was kind and compassionate. Connie's greatest love of all was the connection she shared with her 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Like a magnet, the children swarmed Connie and she showered them in love. Connie was an active member of the Courts of Praise Church, Harriman, Tennessee. Connie was

preceded in death by her father Andy, mother Imogene, brother Ronald, brother Thomas, grandson William, and great-granddaughter Abriana.
