Baldridge (Accurso), Frances J "Fran"
Frances "Fran" (Accurso) Baldridge, 80, longtime resident of Miamisburg, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2025.
Fran was born and raised in Connecticut. She pursued a career in education and became a dedicated science teacher. After meeting the love of her life, Henry Baldridge, Fran moved to Dayton, where they built a life filled with adventure. She taught at Ferguson Middle School in Beavercreek, where she inspired countless students over the years.
Fran had a passion for knitting, cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes and Dayton Dragons, attending Broadway shows, and caring for her beloved dogs. She and Henry shared a love of international travel and achieved their goal of visiting every Major League Baseball park.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Henry; her parents, Joseph and Carmela Accurso; and her sister, Anna Accurso.
Fran is survived by her brother, Michael Accurso; sisters-in-law Sandra Combs and Brenda Strickland; nieces Dianna Thompson and Angela Castle; and nephews John Baldridge, Patrick Combs, and Ryan Combs.
Family and friends may gather at David's Cemetery Chapel, Dayton, Ohio, on Saturday, January 25th, 2025, from 11 a.m. to noon. Interment immediatly following.
