Bellomy, Alfred "D."

Alfred D. Bellomy, age 87, of Union, passed away on January 8, 2025. He was born to the late Nathan and Stella (Neal) Bellomy on November 27, 1937. Al proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He loved to tell stories of his time during the service. He was a member of the Church of the Transfiguration. Al enjoyed doing many things such as being the handyman around the house and traveling on cruises and to Memphis, Tennessee. Al is survived by his Wife of 59 years: Gayle (Flynn) Bellomy; Sons: Joe (Michelle) Bellomy, David Bellomy, and Tony Bellomy; Grandchildren: Courtney, Austin, Taylor, Alexis, Kyle, and John; Great Grandchildren: Cash, Ellie, and Ollie; and Sisters: Doris Fleitz and Carolyn Sue Boltz; along with numerous other family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his Sisters: Jacqueline Matney, Joyce Stanfield, and Clara Thomas; and Brothers: John Bellomy, Jervis Bellomy, James Bellomy, Charles Bellomy, Roy Bellomy, and Nathan Bellomy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at the Church of the Transfiguration (972 S Miami St, West Milton) with Father Steve Shoup officiating. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, at 10:00 am until the time of Mass.
