DAVIS, Madonna

Age 93, formerly of Brookville, passed away peacefully on 11/18/2021, at the Fountains La Cholla Senior Center, in

Tucson, Arizona.

Madonna was born January 1928, in Athens County, Ohio, the daughter of Carl and Jodie Hull. She graduated from Waterloo Wonders High School with honors and was on the cheer leading team. Madonna worked in data processing, accounts payable and receivables specialist for Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and Chemineer Manufacturer in Montgomery County, Ohio. In November of 1946 she married Earl H. Davis in Pomeroy, Ohio. She was a devoted and caring wife for 60 years. They had three children and one grandchild. Madonna enjoyed her involvement in church, holidays, reading about gardening and spending time with her grandson.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Earl; parents, Carl and Jodie Hull; brother, Carl Jr. and sister, Pauline. Special in her heart were sons-in-law Jack Elgert and Eli Drakulich.

Madonna is survived by her children, Rosemary Elgert, Debbie Drakulich, Kirby (Janelle) Davis; grandson, Kyle (Anna) Davis Esq., many nieces and nephews, and numerous other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021, 10AM, at the Gilbert-Fellers Funeral Home, 950

Albert Rd, Brookville, OH 45309. A visitation will take place on Friday, at the funeral home, from 9am-10am (leading into the services).

It was Madonna's wish that any memorial tribute be made in the form of a charitable donation to the Fisher House Foundation, 12300 Twinbrook Pkwy, Ste 410, Rockville, Maryland 20852 (donations@fisherhouse.org).
